- Our client, a group of companies with interests in constructions, engineering consultancy, agriculture, fintech, mining, information technology, FMCG and pharmaceuticals, seeks the services of a highly motivated and detail-oriented Employee Performance Evaluation Specialist to join their team.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring a fair, efficient, and data-driven performance evaluation process for employees, and will be responsible for the entire evaluation cycle, from development and implementation to data analysis and reporting.
- He/she will equally leverage electronic systems to not only manage the performance evaluation process itself, but also to monitor task assignment and execution across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Electronic Task Management & Monitoring:
- Oversee (and utilize) electronic systems to assign tasks and track progress across departments.
- Monitor task completion in real-time, identifying potential bottlenecks and proactively ensuring deadlines are met.
- Generate reports on task completion rates and identify areas for improvement in the overall workflow.
Performance Evaluation Process:
- Partner with managers to develop clear and measurable performance objectives for their team members.
- Coordinate the completion of performance evaluations by all partners.
- Facilitate training sessions for managers on conducting effective performance evaluations.
- Manage the evaluation timeline and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Address employee and manager concerns regarding task assignments and the performance evaluation.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyse employee job activities, including task completion and performance data collected through electronic systems.
- Identify trends and areas for improvement within the task management and performance evaluation process.
- Prepare reports for management, summarising key performance metrics and recommendations.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee performance data.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in performance management and electronic task management systems.
- Assist with other HR initiatives as needed.
- Review and prepare sundry reports in a timely manner.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision making always regarding company’s resources.
- Implement and ensure adherence to company’s policies and procedures.
- Promote the company’s values and philosophy in the performance of your services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 5-8 years of experience in performance management or a related field.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) or an equivalent professional body is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of performance evaluation principles and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience and comfort utilizing electronic performance management and task management systems (required).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to generate insightful reports from data.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
