Job Description / Responsibility

We need a Private Equity Analyst who will be involved in the deal sourcing, analysis, execution, monitoring and exit of private equity investments.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop financial models using appropriate tools

Prepare investment committee memorandums and participate in investment committee presentations

Participate in the due diligence/ underwriting process on new potential investments

Work with the deal team on portfolio management of select assets

Function as a contact for existing funds and joint venture relationships

Support the development of recommendations and action plans for investments based on financial analysis

Conduct investment/ market research

Review and respond to requests from investment partners

Assist with capital raising and various investor relations request

Educational Requirements

A BSc / BA Degree in Accounting or Economics

Experience Requirements

1 - 2 Post NYSC years of relevant experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity or in a similar function for an asset management company

Additional Job Requirements

ICAN or ACA qualified

Strong financial modelling experience

Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
