Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the preventive, corrective, troubleshooting, shutdown, and major and minor maintenance activities, on various types of instrumentation in the cement industry.
- To supervise a team of technicians carrying out basic instrumentation maintenance activities according to plan in order to assure the maximum equipment availability and precision respecting all internal maintenance procedures and best-practices and all the safety regulations and procedures.
Capabilities and required skills:
- Should have knowledge of VFD and UPS operation, Siemens Simatic manager step-7 PLC service, Siemens Simatic manager step-7 PLC programming, Field communication and networking (Profibus, Ethernet, Fiber optics and FF), HMI (WINCC, WINCCFLEX, & FCS ECS).
- Attend to all plant Instrument faults/equipment resetting calls from production during his shift period as shift leader
- Should have knowledge of weighing system.
- Monitors all Instrument Load centers during his shift hours.
- Reports all activities during his shift hours in the Instrument shift log book.
- Sends call out notes to concerned standby Engineers for job above shift levels.
- Carry out Instruments maintenance during his shift period.
- Carry out plant improvement jobs during his shift hours.
- Other additional assignments as entrusted by the management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years cogent experience.
