Our client is currently recruiting for the post of a Production Pharmacist who has an understanding and experience in coordinating and supervising the production process in compliance with Goods Manufacturing practices and other relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
Plan, schedule and monitor production activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the products meet established quality, standards and specifications.
Conduct regular inspections, testing and validation of equipment, processes and products.
Maintain accurate and complete production records, batch documentation and reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure all necessary documentation such as batch records and standard operating procedures are up to date and accessible.
Ensure compliance with all local and international pharmaceutical regulations including NAFDAC.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
Promote a safe and environmentally responsible production environment.
Prepare, compound and formulate pharmaceutical products following standard SOP’S and GMP guidelines.
Requirements
Bachelors in Pharmacy.
Minimum 5 years of experience is required in a pharmaceutical production company.
High level of mathematical proficiency.
High level of proficiency with Excel is essential to organize, and maintain data.
Good IT skills especially with MS Office applications.
Leadership skills to bring together employees and team members.
Strong language and numerical skills
