We are seeking a talented Cyber Security Engineer to oversee and manage our cybersecurity solutions and ensure the protection of Lily Hospitals IT infrastructure from cyber threats.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures to safeguard sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect Lily Hospitals IT infrastructure.
Monitor network traffic for signs of unauthorized access or suspicious activity and take appropriate action to mitigate security risks.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential weaknesses in our systems.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into new systems and applications from the outset.
Investigate security incidents and breaches, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, and implement best practices to protect Lily Hospitals' data and systems.
Provide training and support to staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, or a related field.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification preferred.
Proven experience working in a cybersecurity role, preferably in a healthcare or similar industry.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
Experience with network security, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability management tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and respond effectively to security incidents.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
